Revolutionary War Era Sword purchased last year from Cowan's Auction. Estimated as high as $4500 plus the 15% commission. Description as follows: Condition is excellent; dyed ivory green grips, all silver engraved, complete with leather scabbard. Blade length=23 1/4 inches; Sword length=29 1/4 inches; Sword in scabbard= 29 3/8 inches. Pommel and cross guards beautifully engraved. Sterling silver throat, engraved "Cullum Charing Craf" (English). Both ring mount and drag highly engraved. Additional pictures available upon request. Comes with additional provenance.
